Spring Retreat was Awesome!

Thank heavens for Laurissa Memmott taking some pictures on her camera! I'll do better at getting pictures of you beautiful girls and your amazing quilting projects!

Check back soon for recipes and our first 'Tensisters TV' spot with our favorite Davidene!
We thought we were being filmed here- but it was a still picture! Davidene is a natural! You are going to love her demo!

Christy and Millie came together- they both work part time at Gracie Lou's Quilt shop in Salem,Utah.

Millie is a talented long arm quilter--fyi!

Christy was amazing me with her talent of coordinating fabrics together at our 'traveling quilt shop'! Everyone loved getting to know her!

Donna is busy piecing!

Gail and Brenda are a spot of
sunshine wherever they go!
They helped us have
'SEW' much fun with the
Accu Cutter!

Jamie snuck in a little sewing and
made two adorable skirts!

We were noticing that Kristy and Nicole were a little less chatty than the rest of us-- then we saw how much sewing they were getting done--wow!!
They both work part time at the Quilting Cottage in American Fork, Ut.

Here is a sample of some of
Nicole's 'Baskets Around'
Quiltsmart project!

One of my favorite people ever! And one
of the most talented quilters you will
ever meet--Pamela Morgan

Alece and Amy are Pamela's daughters
and were such a wonderful addition
to the retreat! They inspired us all with
what they did with the mystery quilt!

We had a fun show and tell- I promise to do better next time with pictures! Here are a few of Nicole's quilts that she was sneaking out without us seeing them!! All Quiltsmart! Baskets Around, Lone Star, and Pumpkin Seed!

We all loved getting to know sweet Vicki
from Blackfoot, Idaho! She's working hard on her beautiful Lone Star.

Carmen doing a little visiting!

What a treat to have Vicki's sister Pat and her friend Terri come all the way from
New Mexico!

Carmen showing everyone the fun of
Raw Edge Applique! Kristy,my favorite
sister in law,came from Logan,UT

Speaking of traveling...Carrie,
 Dalene, and Donna came all
the way from northern California!
These girls know how to have fun!

Davidene got SO much done!

I can not say enough good about
Debbie and Jamie! Our
'hospitality hostesses'!
 All our meals were most
definitely prepared with love!

It was amazing to have two of my
darling sisters,  Laurissa and
Shelley at the retreat!
And darling Amy...her smile and friendly
conversation brightened each day!

Carmen, Laurissa, and our sister in law Kristy
having a little shopping fun!

Wow! And that's not even everyone! I'm still gathering a few more pictures to share... stay tuned!

Class Updates: November and beyond

I just returned from the Houston Quilt Market... Talk about sensory overload! Hundreds of beautiful new fabric lines, notions and gadgets galore—all to make our quilting experience easier and more fun!

Speaking of easy and fun, I was there working in the Quiltsmart booth and WOW! My fellow quilters were all so excited to see how fun, fast, and easy it is to make "difficult" quilts with Quiltsmart printed interfacing patterns!
You should make a trip to the Quilt Market if you have
never had a chance. It is always such a great experience. Not to mention all the great goodies to buy!

Hideaway Retreat Update: I have been so thrilled to see everyone who's registered for the retreat! I hope to see more of you sign up while there are still spots available. We are going to have a wonderful time! I am so excited! I realized that there is a typo on the registration form—do I have to fire my secretary? Oh wait, that’s me!
